HR Assistant

Unified Power is looking for that special person that can move into our HR Department as an HR Assistant.
We are looking for someone to join our family and assist us in promoting and implementing HR values and managing HR programs. Applicant must have strong background in payroll processes preferably someone with multi-state payroll experience within in a service industry.
Additional responsibilities include the On-boarding process of new employees, Benefit and 401K Administration. They will maintain HR records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, increases, vacation and personal time off benefits. They will document HR actions by completing various forms, reports, and records. Applicant may be called upon to assist with other HR functions such as Insurance claims (Worker Comp, STD, & LTD), Merit increases, submission of state forms, recruiting efforts and various HR admin functions within the department on an as needed basis.
This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, Employment Law knowledge, excellent judgment and problem solving skills. Strong team building and work ethics are essential.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
