Overview

National Accounts Program Manager ? responsible for the implementation and direct oversight of both existing projects and/or developing programs for the National Accounts team.?? This position will be responsible for fully understanding the costs, profitability and service needs of assigned accounts.? The Program Manager will strengthen and maintain key client relationships, execute plans to manage and service accounts, and lead their team to support and execute daily program operations.? The Program Manager will share in responsibility for maintaining the client?s operations contacts, and insuring that programs are properly serviced with the support of the National Accounts Team.?

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand the key principles and expectations for each assigned program
  • Seek out and leverage support from NA Sales, Program Support, Engineering, and vendors
  • Understand the roles of and facilitate support from purchasing, manufacturing, fabrication, credit, and shipping to accommodate the needs of our clients.
  • Support clients with engineering, design, and program development, including on-site support when needed.
  • Understand and utilize CPM schedules, Status Boards, and CIP tools designed for management of accounts, data collection, quality management and program evaluation.
  • Champion BuildingEnvelope Strategies
  • Demonstrate leadership in safety and quality.
  • Lead efforts to understand costs, drivers of profit, and collection of open payables on assigned programs
  • Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job.

Key Objectives/Duties

  • Insure alignment of our clients and programs, both prospective and existing, with corporate goals for National Accounts
  • Identify and manage all unique customer and program requirements using team resources
  • Have measureable success in maintaining product and service lines for existing accounts
  • Assist in identifying and leveling resource needs
  • Actively cultivate relationships with vendors, OBE glass plants and fabrication facilities
  • Be active in the professional development of all National Accounts team members
  • Manage and track service and financial performance on key accounts
  • Schedule and manage all project management duties on key accounts, self-performing all high level functions as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum 1 years of glazing industry experience, with a preference towards contract glazing experience, or equivalent experience in a related construction or manufacturing field
  • Experience working with national retail customers and/or experience in a directed national sales program a plus
  • Construction contract experience is a plus
  • Background that includes engineering, design and/or development of custom products, preferably with aluminum, glass and metal panel applications
  • A proven track record demonstrating a complete understanding of? project/process management
  • A thorough understanding of the role of engineering and drafting in the project delivery process
  • Ability to conceptualize products and applications in a digital, 3D environment
  • Proficiency with AutoCad, Revit, Inventor and similar applications is a plus.
  • Adequate product and technical knowledge of glazing systems, glass, entrances, hardware, heavy glass doors, and metal panels, or the ability to demonstrate a track record of mastering similar knowledge
  • Product installation and fabrication experience, and/or a track record of successful management of those resources
  • Ability to communicate in the commercial construction and manufacturing environment
